There is a very good reason for this, and you'll find it easier to actually stop smoking if you think of stopping smoking, rather than giving up smoking. Ask yourself why people talk of giving up. You're not actually giving up anything. Unless that is if you regard obtaining lung cancer, or emphysema, just aboutme other dirty ailment as a good thing. I don't, and never have, and this is the cardinal reason I refer to it as stopping rather than anything else.
Once you start talking of stopping you begin to accept the finality of the statement; for in "I've stopped smoking", alternatively "I'm going to stop smoking".
Secondly, you are about to board above the easiest entity you've ever done in your all life. I can virtually hear human think that I don't know what I'm talking about. If you're everything like me you will have tried stopping already. Heck if you're a regular person who's been smoking for a while you definitely have tried stopping yet, and you've failed - like I have. Not once, not twice, yet every single time you've tried. I understand I did also. So, how can I mention that stopping is the easieast thing you're ever going to do? I must be outrageous. Stopping is hard! Right?
Wrong! Stopping namely simple! Starting to cloud namely hard. It's hard because you must persevere with it, you have to reserve trying until you stop coughing and start looking chilly. Or at least until you don't cough anymore, and that takes period.

Everyone always looked glamorous, beautiful and healthy. No one ever looked ill, grey faced, haggard, or aggravate - dying of lung cancer. Think of smoking as a high wall. Let's assume a wall that is forty feet high.
