At the time I had a friend whod been researching all the best and cheapest gear for about six months.
And when he finally went out and made his purchase I just bought the same stuff he did.
So I ended up with a Mac Book and a copy of Pro Tools, but with no iIdea at all how to use it?

I had a massive problem with my audio interface and it had to go back to the shop for a month. I could not even use my new gear!
So I decided to spend the time reading the manual so that when I got my stuff back I could get right on with recording.
The Pro Tools manual is about 1000 pages long and you have to read it on the computer.

My training really started when I got my audio interface back and started to mess around with the program.

But after about six months I started to get the hang of things and was making some nice beats and a few good tunes.
