Apparently,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Valerie Steele and co. over at F.I.T. agree. They’ve curated an entire exhibit dedicated to the 90-year-old shoemaker. “Scandal Sandals and Lady Slippers: A History of Delman Shoes” will be on display March 9 through April 4,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], 2010,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], featuring shoes from 1926 to 2007.
Sure,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], there are some must-see styles in there,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but what’s really interesting about founder Herman Delman’s shoes is that he hired some heavy hitting designers to realize them. The 50-pair collection includes shoes created by the likes of Roger Vivier and Herbert Levine.
