Be Intuitive!
The Angels

It is important for you to believe what you intuitively hear and
feel. Your intuition is a great power and it gives you the ability to connect with your own Divinity, the voice that tells you which direction to go, and the power that opens doors and clears paths. Be trusting of it always, for it is your birthright, your inheritance, a forgotten gift that was given to you to guide you through a world full of darkness.
So, in the early days of using my "intuition" I set out to try to prove to people that they were mistaken about all the beliefs and ideas that they had about I ran into a few of them myself. As in any occupation, you will find people who should not be doing the work that they do. That experience made me try even harder to change others' perceptions of what it meant to be psychic. I would go overboard trying to impress people by how "normal" I was, even though what I was doing seemed abnormal. I certainly did not want to seem weird, and yet I was called weird, even to my face. And then, after bending over backward trying to NOT be what everyone perceived I would be, while at the same time trying to be what "I" thought I SHOULD be, I discovered that all I had to "be" was myself, express the power within myself, and in doing so, I found that it empowered other people to do the same.
Things have certainly changed a lot since those early days, maybe not so much for the world in general, but certainly for myself and my acceptance of who I am. I now find it a compliment to be called weird because it means I'm living my truth, which inspires others to open up to their own psychic abilities, their own power within themselves, the power that allows them to let go of fear [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], express their own truth, and create the reality that they want for like I have done.
On the front page of my Power Within website, I do not at any time use the word psychic to describe myself. I am aware that there are those who still think that it is a word to be afraid of. Instead, I have chosen to use words that do not appear so frightening, seem more acceptable, in order to get their attention just long enough for them to see that the only thing that they have ever been afraid of is using the POWER that they already possess WITHIN themselves
And just in case you don't take my word for it, maybe you'll listen to those from a "higher" authority. The Angels themselves gave me a message to share with all of you!

When you think of the word "psychic", the picture that usually comes to mind for most people, is that of a woman dressed in gypsy type clothing, rings on each finger [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and a bouffont hairdo, saying,"look into my eyes, MY EYES". While I love the work that I do as a spiritual counselor and messenger, I also love making "light" of the mis-perceptions that people have about me, so much so that I teasingly say I have changed my real name from Dorie to "Adora". What I really find most amusing though, is that people will go out of their way to deny what they inherently are.
Everyone is psychic, at least to some degree, however, most people will use the word "intuition" to describe the experiences that they have. It seems they feel more comfortable using that word [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which basically means the same I suppose it's the use of crystal balls and tarot cards that have really given the word psychic a scary connotation. While those are just tools that are used to focus, it seems that even inanimate objects have received a bad rap. It could also be the talk of spirit communication or seeing "dead people" that makes people uneasy, as people have always had a history of being afraid of what they cannot see, hear, or understand for themselves.
