Abstract Objective To introduce the use of clover plate in treatment of Pilon fractures of the methods and clinical results. Methods A retrospective analysis from 2001 to 2004 using this technique Pilon fractures in 34 patients with clinical data of surgery. Results 32 patients were followed for an average time of 22 months, fracture healing time is 8 to 12 months, the fine rate was 96%. Conclusion of the plate in the fracture surface at the coverage area, the fixation, the patient may be an early functional exercises to promote blood circulation and healing.

1 Materials and Methods
